The green revolution has come to Durham! The Farmery, a hybrid urban farm and market, has opened a prototype of what they hope will evolve into a full-scale facility. The Farmery will source produce from local farmers as well as grow their own crops on-site. The Farmery is housed at American Underground, part of Durham’s American Tobacco Campus. Their goal is to provide their customers with quality, fresh produce and to give small, local farmers an opportunity to get their products on store shelves. The Farmery features “living walls” and “u-pick” crop displays. It is open to the public from 11 AM-7 PM Monday-Friday and 10 AM-3 PM on Saturdays. Click here for more info!
