You may remember from our earlier post that not one, but TWO of North Carolina’s great culinary cities are finalists in Southern Living’s ”Tastiest Town of the South” competition. Asheville and Durham are both top contenders in the contest, which ends on February 28th (VOTE HERE every day!!!). In honor of this exciting achievement, top chefs from Durham and Asheville are coming together to host a six-course meal at Four Square in Durham on Sunday, February 24th. Asheville chefs Jacob Sessoms of Table and Brian Canipelli of Cucina 24 will join Durham chefs Justin Rakes and Scott Martin of Salted Pig, Matt Kelly of Mateo, and Shane Ingram of Four Square will join forces to prepare this celebratory meal.
