Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

The Titanic, the most largest ship of its day and also unfortunately the most famous shipwreck in history, continues to be a marvel and draw the interest of people around the world. Now, one hundred years later, over 200 artifacts retrieved from the wreckage of the ship have arrived at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences as part of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. Explore re-creations of the ship’s interior and experience the journey as you take on the identity of a real passenger aboard the famous vessel. Learn about what sunk the ship and view artifacts recovered by the RMS Titanic, Inc. in it’s eight research and recovery dives since the wreckage was discovered in 1985. Head down to the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences to get a first-hand look at true pieces of maritime history. The exhibit will run until April 28th.
