#TBT We are throwing back today to the 1960’s, and the iconic Mr. Peanut statue on South Wilmington Street in Raleigh. The statue, over 50 feet tall, stood next to a Planters Peanut and Candy store, and welcomed visitors to Raleigh from miles away. The store and the statue are now gone, replaced by a used car lot.
