Today we are throwing back to 1944, and the Piggly Wiggly store that was under construction at the corner of Martin and Wilmington Streets in downtown Raleigh. The store is long gone, and has been replaced with some new icons: Beasley’s Chicken & Honey and Chuck’s. Happy Thursday!
