Do you like good music and barbecue? Then you need to head downtown this Saturday for The Pit’s 7th Annual ‘Cuegrass Festival. The beloved restaurant will be hosting the a jam-packed day full of great ‘cue, local brews and toe-tappin’ bluegrass music! They’ll be closing down several streets surrounding The Pit and serving up their famous Eastern North Carolina-style barbecue and a selection of locally made beers. There will be a stage featuring six bluegrass bands throughout the day and into the evening. The proceeds from ‘Cuegrass will go to the Junior League of Raleigh’s BackPack Buddies program, which helps provide children at Lacy and Hunter Elementary Schools with healthy weekend meals and snacks during the school year. Here’s a list of the bands taking the stage this weekend:

12:00-12:45 Hank Sinatra | 1:00-1:45 The Moore Brothers

4:00-4:45 Billy Strings & Don Julin | 5:00-6:00 Town Mountain

The action starts this Saturday, April 18th at noon and runs through 6 PM. Admission fee is $5 at the gate. Click here for a map and for more event info.
