September 2014

Fall is right around the corner!!!

On a personal note…

Jen had a wonderful, busy August!  Jen’s youngest turned 7 this month- Happy Birthday!  Also, Jen was able to spend some girlfriend time with her great friend, Cille, in CA for a couple of days.  Jen’s cousins visited her from Brooklyn for an end of the summer celebration at Wrightsville Beach.  The beginning of the school year has put the Lange family into a full swing of activities: soccer, dance, piano, voice, chorus, gymnastics and her oldest daughter received a big role in the upcoming school play where she has a singing solo!  Of course, Mom and Dad and so proud but, are not sure which way is up some days!  She is not sure how all of you Mom and Dad’s hold it together so gracefully and make it look so easy!

Jason had a great August and early September! He stayed in Raleigh for most of the month, but did get down to Wrightsville Beach twice to see his younger brother, who attends UNCW, as well as get some beach time in with the Lange’s.  He is going to AZ for a weekend in September to visit a good friend who lives out there as well as some family.  Fall soccer has started up and his next semester of teaching is about to kick off as well!

Sharon had a very busy August keeping up with her buyers and sellers and traveling a bit to cooler weather!!  She spent the first week with her son Sam, chaperoning the Enloe HS Marching Band Camp which took place at Frostburg State University in the mountains of Maryland.  That was definitely a trip back in time, sleeping in a dorm room for a week.  It was an amazing adventure though, and she loved seeing the kids working hard and the band’s show coming together!!  Later in the month Sharon took a trip to Beautiful Lake Champlain in Upstate New York.  It was great to get to some cooler weather and to see the beautiful mountains and lakes of the region.  She tipped off the end of the month getting her boys ready for the new school year and getting back to business!!

Did you know… That according to a projection from a new United Nations study of world population growth, North Carolina’s two largest urban centers—Charlotte and Raleigh—will grow faster than any other large cities in the U.S. over the next fifteen years.
