Farm Aid Hits Raleigh This Weekend!

If you haven’t already heard, Farm Aid is coming to Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh this weekend! This amazing benefit concert featuring music legends Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, Jack White and more. It is the longest running benefit concert series in the U.S., and has raised over $45 million over the years to help family farmers survive and thrive. This event is an all-day music and food festival, and will feature a unique lineup of artists and genres. As an added bonus Farm Aid-goers can partake in family farm-identified, local and organic foods with the festival’s own HOMEGROWN Concessions®. In Farm Aid’s HOMEGROWN Village, folks can meet farmers, engage in hands-on food and farm activities, and learn about the ways family farmers are enriching our soil, protecting our water and growing our economy, in addition to bringing us good food for good health. Tickets may be hard to find at this point BUT you can also watch the concert live from home several different ways. Tune into AXS TV at 7 PM to watch the show live in HD or stream the concert live in HD here farmaid.org starting at 5pm EDT with their webcast, “Farm Aid 2014 Presented by Amy’s Kitchen”; you can additionally listen on Willie Nelson’s SiriusXM channel, Willie’s Roadhouse (59), beginning at noon EDT.
