Raleigh City Farmers’ Market Returns!

Raleigh City Farmers MarketThe move towards farm fresh and local isn’t just for foodies! The Triangle area has seen a rise in farmers’ markets and pop up markets designed to help small, local growers and producers connect with folks that want quality and to know where their food is coming from. Now, 100 years after its establishment, the Raleigh City Farmers’ Market is coming back to downtown Raleigh! Market Hall at the Historic City Market will be playing host each Wednesday to a variety of vendors selling produce, fresh baked goods, eggs, flowers, seafood, meat and even some art! Martin Street in downtown Raleigh, and will kickoff with remarks by Mayor Nancy McFarlane!

According to the TBJ, some of the local vendors will include: Kailyard Farm, Endless Sun Produce, Understory Farm, Old Milburnie Farm, Boulted Bread, Color Fields, Coon Rock Farm, Walk Ahead Farm, Moonflour Baker, Locals Seafood, Double T Farm, Crude Bitters & Sodas, 5th Season and Following The Field, with Chapel Hill Creamery and The Grange joining in later.
