Holly Springs To Get New Ballpark

The town of Holly Springs will soon be home to a new sports stadium and will partner with the Coastal Plain League, a collegiate summer baseball league, to provide a home ballpark for a new CPL team starting in 2015. There are plans for an 2,000-seat stadium that will host around 40 baseball games a season. Holly Springs will also be able to contract other events to come to the facility, and the mayor says that in addition to creating new jobs, they expect the facility to generate $5-6 million in revenue annually .
