We’re Really Hoppy About NC Beer Month

This April marks North Carolina’s first-ever Beer Month! Raleigh is celebrating with a month of events, many highlighting the city’s 11 local craft beer brewers. The two feature events are the World Beer Festival and Brewgaloo. The World Beer Festival on Saturday, April 13th will be held in downtown Raleigh’s Moore Square and will be benefitting Artsplosure-the folks that orchestrate First Night on New Years Eve. The event is designed to showcase beer making and it’s history, as well as new techniques and methods. It is divided into two sessions, 12:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. Tickets are $20 per session in advance and $50 per session day of; VIP tickets are available for $75 per session. On Saturday, April 27th you can head to City Plaza for Brewgaloo, organized by Shop Local Raleigh, and featuring local craft brewers and their wares. There will be food trucks and live music to round out the party. Brewgaloo is free to attend and will be from 3:00 PM-9:00 PM.
