Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week Starts Monday

The much-anticipated Great American Eclipse isn’t the only thing that people are looking forward to on Monday—it’s also the start of Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week. Sure you have your NASA-approved solar eclipse glasses ready, but have you made your reservations yet?

Starting Monday, you’ll be able to eat at some of the Capital City’s finest and most popular restaurants for a steal. Each participating restaurant will offer three-course prix fixe dinners for either $21 or $31 per person. Some restaurants will even offer $5 and $10 lunch specials for the week.

Where should you eat in downtown Raleigh?

There are more than 60 new and well-rooted Raleigh restaurants taking part in the semi-annual restaurant week.

With upscale establishments like Jimmy V’s Osteria + Bar, Provenance, and Buku to longtime food favorites including 42nd Street Oyster Bar, Irregardless Café, and Five Star, there are plenty of palate pleasing menus to pick from, foodies. There are so many, in fact, you may want to make reservations at more than one.

Giving Back

Not only will you enjoy good food at a great price during Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week, but you’ll also be supporting the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.

This year, one dollar from every restaurant week dinner sold will be donated to the Food Bank to support its local efforts to curb hunger. Every dollar donated will allow the Food Bank to provide five meals to feed neighbors in need.
