July 4th Celebration!

Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway in Cary
Make sure to attend this free family-friendly event to ring in America’s 241st birthday with the Town of Cary. Gates will open at 3 p.m. with tons of rides, games, and activities for the kids. The Cary Town Band will perform at 5:45 p.m. and the N.C. Symphony will take the stage at 7:45 p.m. to fill the night air with music just before the fireworks start to explode.

Old fashioned family fun is in order at Chapel Hill’s 4th of July Celebration. From a watermelon eating contests and a live performance by RadioJacks to food trucks, face painting, street performers and more, guest of all ages will be entertained. Fireworks are scheduled to start exploding at 9:30 p.m. sharp.
Durham
Independence Day Celebration

What could be better than spending Independence Day watching America’s favorite pastime? Fireworks after the game! Get tickets to see the Durham Bulls minor league baseball team take on the Charlotte Knights on Tuesday, July 4th and then hang around afterward to watch the sky light up with some serious pyrotechnics.
Fuquay-Varina
Independence Day Celebration

South Park, 900 S. Main Street in Fuquay-Varina
Fuquay-Varina friends are invited to participate in the town’s annual Independence Day celebration at South Park on Monday. There will be fair rides for kids of all ages, food vendors with sweet and salty treats, and a live performance by Spare Change. Fireworks are scheduled to start at sundown.

Picnic in the Park

Start celebrating Independence Day early at Hillsborough’s Picnic in the Park event with live performances by The Glorifying Vines, Harvey Dalton Arnold, Thomas Rhyant’s Sam Cooke Revue and Cool John Ferguson. Food trucks, yard games and a reading of the Declaration of Independence are also on the docket.

Performances by Bull City Syndicate and the N.C. Symphony will set the stage for a patriotic evening under the stars. All attendees will be able to tour the Veterans Memorial and children will have access to the exciting Kids Adventure Zone with inflatables, games, and crafts. Fireworks will begin after 9 p.m.

Gather at the Station for a big Independence Day celebration! The Chairman of the Board will headline the patriotic event, which will feature arts and crafts vendors and numerous food trucks including Cousins Maine Lobster, Barone Meatball, Two Roosters Ice Cream, Morfa Empanadas and much more. Children will also be entertained with a playground area including inflatables and interesting activities. Fireworks will take place at 9:15 p.m.
Mebane
Let Freedom Ring Parade

Mebane Historical Museum, Second and Jackson Streets in downtown Mebane
Decorate your bike, scooter or wagon and join neighbors and friends in downtown Mebane for its fifth-annual Fourth of July parade. The Village Band and Bradford Academy Chorus will perform leading up to the start of the march.
Morrisville

Food trucks and fireworks will lead the Fourth of July fun in Morrisville on Monday. Get there early with blankets and chairs to grab a space on the grass and enjoy good eats and great company while the sun goes down. Fireworks will begin at dark.

The City of Raleigh will host a Fourth of July extravaganza on Fayetteville Street starting at noon on Tuesday. Free for all to attend, guests will enjoy live music at the Red Hat Amphitheater, street performers, food trucks and brewery vendors, activities and rides for the kids throughout the day and a fireworks display that will make you ‘ooh’ and “ah.”
