On the hunt for a new home? Have you thought about a green home? No, we aren’t talking about a paint color.
The Green Home Builders of the Triangle will host its annual Green Home Tour starting this weekend. More than 20 new and remodeled certified green homes will be open for self-guided tours on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
Tour participants will be able to see first-hand the advanced building practices and materials used to complete these certified green homes. Builder representatives will be available to answer questions about water and energy efficiency within the home, indoor environmental quality and the special site design.
