Good school districts and educational offerings are at the top of most homebuyers’ must-have lists for good reason. But, it isn’t just primary and secondary education families need to keep in mind—higher education is often a consideration as well. Luckily for all of us, the Triangle brings an array of educational opportunities to the table.
The growing Triangle area is home to an abundance of universities and colleges, some world-renowned for their research and advancements across a number of industries.
From tier-one schools like Duke, Carolina and N.C. State; to private, liberal arts schools like Meredith and William Peace, the cities in and around the Triangle area have a lot to offer families seeking quality higher education institutions for their children.
In College Factual’s 2015 college ranking report for North Carolina, four Triangle area schools—Duke, Carolina, N.C. State, and Meredith—scored among the top 10 schools in the state out of a pool of more than 50.
