June 2015 – Summer has arrived!!!
On a personal note…
Jen had a nice start to her spring/summer! She had a campout in her backyard with some of her family and family friends, The Cappelletti’s. Also, she went swimming at her good family friends, The Fredericksons, neighborhood pool. On Memorial Day she relaxed at her mom and step-fathers house where they cooked out and swam, again! Also, at the beginning of May she took a quick long- weekend trip to honor her husband’s and her husbands co-workers accomplishments over the past year for their company, VideoLink. They visited a neat island called Isla Mujeres where they rented golf carts (the typical way to get around the island) and got to go to a Turtle Farm where they raise and release loggerhead sea turtles into the wild.
Jason had a great end of spring and early summer! He got to do some traveling to visit some friends, including up to VA to help one of his best friends do some kitchen renovations and break in some new power tools! He also got to go and watch his Goddaughter, Cailan and her brother, Evan, play soccer…they are getting really good! Jason has also been filling in his free time outside of real estate with flipping another home and starting renovations on another one, along with playing soccer, teaching and ramping up training for his August climb of Mt. Rainier with his two brothers and close friend…they are super excited!
Sharon has been enjoying the spring weather and getting outdoors more. She and the boys love to take hikes with their dog Ellie in Durant Nature Park. She is very excited for summertime and spent a beautiful Memorial Day weekend enjoying Kerr Lake, one of her favorite places to be! The kids have been busy getting ready for the end of the school year. Sharon’s Mom and Step Father Jim paid a visit from Asheville to see Sam’s last Band concert of the year and Ryan’s been busy with his technical duties at Ligon’s Performing Art’s program.
Donna enjoyed a weekend trip to Las Vegas with her husband, John and friends. Donna’s family enjoyed spending time with John’s Parents who were visiting from NJ. Donna’s daughter started her Softball season at the YMCA. Donna’s family is happy that pool season is finally here. They attended a fun Memorial Day celebration at their community pool.
