Head over to SEEDS Southside Garden in Durham tomorrow, October 24th, for a community potluck lunch to celebrate National Food Day! The SEEDS organization’s mission is to teach a respect for life, for the earth and for each other through gardening and growing food. The garden, located in downtown Durham, is an urban garden where the practices of sustainable agriculture, organic gardening, food security and environmental stewardship are implemented and taught. Bring a dish and your picnic blanket and enjoy lunch in the garden on a beautiful fall day.
